Jenarae Garland

Jenarae Garland serves as Berry’s Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer.

Prior to joining Berry, Jenarae served in roles of increasing responsibility in the legal department of Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX), a Fortune 50 integrated downstream energy company, most recently as Deputy General Counsel, Corporate from July 2024 to April 2025, and Assistant Corporate Secretary from September 2022 to April 2025. Prior to joining Phillips 66, Jenarae served in the legal department of Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: OXY) from August 2014 to March 2022, most recently as Assistant General Counsel, Oxy Low Carbon Ventures. Jenarae began her career as a corporate associate at Vinson & Elkins LLP counseling public and private companies and investment banking firms in capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting and corporate governance matters. Jenarae currently serves on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Lonestar – Houston, a non-profit organization focused on creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise.
